Obituary

Nancy L. Kilgus, 82, of Watsontown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born June 13, 1940 in Watsontown, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Mary (Bachman) Beck.  On July 24, 1959 she married Richard D. Kilgus and together they celebrated 63 years of marriage.

Nancy was a 1958 graduate of Watsontown High School.  She worked and retired from Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, where she did clerical work.  Nancy was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Milton.

She enjoyed gardening, and watching the deer and hummingbirds.  She loved going to Disney, traveling there over a dozen times.

In addition to her husband, Richard, she is survived by her two brothers: John and Max Beck, both of Watsontown; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers: Elmer and Charles Beck; and five sisters: Hazel Willett, Ruth Dentler, Jane Zarr, Geraldine Haines, and Helen Byers.

Services and burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
