William D. "Bill" Mitidieri, 75, of Watsontown, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
Born in Lewisburg on December 9, 1948, he was the son of the late Nicholas D. and Alice F. (Rider) Mitidieri. On September 10, 1985 he married the former Cheryl A. Nicholas and they have celebrated 38 years of marriage.
He was a graduate of Warrior Run High School and was a veteran having served with the US Army in the Vietnam War. He had been employed at Stein's Garage in Muncy, Hackenburg Chevrolet in Milton, Kuhns Lumber Company, and then retired from American Home Foods where he had worked 27 years.
He enjoyed cars, guns, and trains.
Surviving besides his wife, Cheryl at home are three sons: Craig Nicholas and his wife Megumi of Melissa, TX; Jeremy Nicholas and his companion Marissa Cowens of Niceville, FL; and WIlliam Mitidieri of Sunbury; two daughters: Brenda Yetter and her companion Mark Bergenstock of Montandon and Michelle Maue of Allenwood, and 12 grandchildren.
Preceding him in death besides his parents were his paternal grandparents, Frank and Helen Mitidieri and maternal grandparents, Meryl and Catherine Rider; and a son-in-law, Fred Maue.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brooks Funeral Home and Cremation Svc, PC, 124 Main Street, Watsontown.
