William Smith Obituary

William H. "Bill" Smith, 73, of Turbotville, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021 at UPMC, Williamsport.

Born June 5, 1948 in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Tucker and Esther (Black) Smith. On December 9, 1972 he married the former Carol I. Fuller and they have celebrated 49 years of marriage.

He was employed as a truck driver for McCormick's and later a supervisor at Stone Container in Williamsport. He enjoyed hunting, wood crafts, and loved being outdoors.

Surviving besides his wife, Carol Smith, are a son and daughter: William J. Smith and Bobbi Jo Smith and her fiancé Jason Herriman, all of Turbotville; and six grandchildren: Cassandra, Leah, Natalie, and McKenzie Smith and Rennleigh and Jaxon Herriman.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
