It is with deep love and gratitude that we remember the life of Verna G. Zimmerman, 77, born December 22, 1947, who entered the presence of her Lord on Monday September 8, 2025.
Her hands were never idle, and her heart was always ready to serve; with quiet strength she guided her family and gave freely to those in need.
Her legacy of faith and love continues in the lives of those she touched. Though she will be missed dearly, we rejoice in the assurance that she is now at rest with her Savior.
Verna is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: Nevin and Megan Zimmerman; Neal and Carrie Zimmerman; and Merle and Janice Zimmerman, all of Danville; three daughters and sons-in-law: Wilma and Chayin Luna; Bonita and Dana Martin, both of Danville; and Paula and Curtis Horning of Herndon; 21 grandchildren; three brothers: Paul, LeRoy, and Ivan Musser; and three sisters: Esther Martin, Anna Mary Burkholder, and Mabel Herr.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Lloyd B. Zimmerman; parents: Edwin and Anna Musser; two brothers: Allen and Samuel Musser; sister: Laura Weaver; and two great-grandsons: Anthony and Zayne Weaver
