Theodore W. “Ted” Horner, 78, of Watsontown, PA, went to be with the Lord on July 2, 2026, at WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg, PA. He had been a patient at the Watsontown Rehabilitation and Nursing Center since 2015. He was born on October 21, 1948, the son of the late Harry T. and Verna S. Horner of Bordentown, NJ.
Ted graduated from Northern Burlington Regional High School, Columbus, New Jersey, and the Columbia Institute of Chiropractic in New York City.
He was a chiropractor in Bordentown for several years and later worked for the Education Testing Service (ETS). He served on the Board of Directors for Crossroads Programs during its early inception.
He had a passion for international travel, especially to Australia. He frequently traveled to San Juan, PR, and Vieques to help in various capacities at WBMJ and WIVV.
Ted will be remembered for his deep love of Christ, his outgoing nature, and his generous kindness. He loved the beach and doting on his nieces. Before moving to Pennsylvania, he was active at the First Baptist Church of Mount Holly, New Jersey.
He is survived by his sister, Barbara (James) Andrews; his nieces Gretchen Morris, Adria (Howard) Jones, Adina (Tim) Nielsen, Devon (Will) Hezlep; and 14 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his nephew-in-law, Kevin Morris.
There will be a viewing from 10 to 11 AM on Tuesday, July 7th, at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc PC, 124 Main Street, Watsontown, where a funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
