Sunny S. "Sue" (Walter) Phillips

Sunny "Sue" Phillips, 55, of Watsontown, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, April 17, 2026.

Born September 30, 1970 in Lewisburg, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Donna M. (Smith) Walter.  On April 25, 1998 she married Mark A. Phillips and together they would have celebrated 28 years of marriage next week.

Sue attended Mifflinburg High School.  She enjoyed listening to music and cooking.  Also she loved her dogs, especially her current dog, Onyx.

In addition to her husband, Mark, she is survived by a brother: Richard J. Walter, of Milton; sister: Melissa K. Morgan and her husband Delmar, of Watsontown; and several nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Christine Kline.

There will be a life celebration held from 6 to 8 PM on Friday, April 24, at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc PC, 124 Main Street, Watsontown.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations in her memory be made to the SPCA of Danville, 1467 Bloom Rd, Danville, PA 17821.
