Steven L. Dewald

Steven L. Dewald, 72, of Exchange, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at home.  

Born February 5, 1953 in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Lester “Joe” and Catherine (Adams) Dewald.  On March 19, 1999, he married the former Susie K. Schultz, and together they celebrated 26 years of marriage.

Steven was formerly an owner/operator truck driver, and most recently was driving for Spencer Trucking in Watsontown.  He was a member of the Muncy American Legion Post 268.  Steven enjoyed watching NASCAR and earlier in life went hunting.  Most of all he loved all the time spent with his family and close friends.

In addition to his wife, Susie, he is survived by two sons: Steve Dewald and his wife Sandy, of Allenwood, and Shane Youmans and his wife Karena, of Watsontown; three daughters: Ashlee Alpaugh and her husband David, of Exchange, Robyn Anspach and her husband Tim, of Watsontown, and Marcie Boren and her husband Chad, of Utah; ten grandchildren:  Gabriella (Nick) Cuozzo, Brandon Giannantonio, Haylee Mordan, Allen Mordan, Levi Anspach, Henry Anspach, David Alpaugh, Allen Boren, Dallas “DK” Boren, and Joshua Fuller; two great-grandchildren: Ella and Rocco; one brother: Michael (Deb) Dewald; and one sister: Lisa (Gary) Laidacker.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
