Sharon D. (Williammee) Merrell

Sharon D. Merrell, 74, of Turbotville, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at her home.

Born February 2, 1951 in Wellsboro, she was a daughter of the late Harry Williammee and Vera (Mason) Driebelbies.  On October 9, 1971 she married Donald E. Merrell and together they celebrated 54 years of marriage.

Sharon was a graduate of Wellsboro High School and received an Associate’s Degree in Accounting form Williamsport Area Community College.  She worked at Chef Boyardee’s in Milton, WR Breens in Turbotville, Safelite Auto Glass and most recently for Eco-Lab.

She was a former member of Trinity United Church in Turbotville.  Sharon was always quiet and soft spoken but always loved reading a good book.  She was very fond of her cats and enjoyed traveling and camping with Don.

In addition to her husband, Don, she is survived by two children: Amy C. Merrell and Bryan E. Merrell; and her step-father: Phil Driebelbies.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Harry and Regina Williammee.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
