Robert M. "Bob" Ulrich, Sr.

Robert M. “Bob” Ulrich, Sr., 85 of Milton, formerly of Turbotville, passed away peacefully surrounded by love on Friday, October 13, 2023 at his home.

Born September 12, 1938 in Oak Grove (Liberty Twp.), Montour County, he was the son of the late Roy P. Ulrich, Sr. and Della Mae (Reichard) Ulrich.  On April 30, 1977 he married the former Kathleen L. Steinbacher and they have celebrated 46 years of marriage.

A farmer most of his lifetime, he also had been employed at Clark’s Feed Mill in Turbotville.

He enjoyed hunting with his son, Robert, Jr., spending time in his wood shop, and cooking.  He was a “jack of all trades” and a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Surviving besides his wife, Kathleen Ulrich of Milton, is a son, Robert M. Ulrich, Jr. of Muncy; three daughters: Evelyn K. Donelson of Philadelphia; Mary E. Freeman of Milton; and Gertrude A. Lopez of Riverside; seven grandchildren: Alex and Dylan Freeman, Elizabeth and Matthew Leach, Jonathan Brown, Joao Lopez, Jr. and Diego Lopez; a brother, Roy “Sam” Ulrich and four sisters: Marie Tanner, Sarah Shambach, Ruth Tanner, and Barbara Kocher.

Preceding him in death besides his parents was a brother, Bill Ulrich and a sister Peggy Brink.

There will be a visitation for family and friends on Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc., PC, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville.
