Robert L. "Bob" Bergenstock

Robert L. “Bob” Bergenstock, Sr., 74, of Danville, passed away at his home on Thursday, October 19, 2023.

Born May 31, 1949 in Danville, he was the son of the late Cluster W. and Stella (Moser) Bergenstock. On December 4, 1998 he married the former Phyllis J. Wills and together they have celebrated 24 years of marriage.

Bob was a 1967 graduate of Danville High School. He was the owner and operator of Mausdale Farm Supply from 1973-2012. Bob was a lifetime supporter of 4H and FFA.

He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and woodworker. He enjoyed gardening and farming.  Bob was a member of Trinity Oak Grove Lutheran Church.

In addition to his wife, Phyllis, Bob is survived by three sons, Robert Bergenstock, Jr., Danville, Adam Bergenstock and his wife Jenna, New Cumberland, and James Bergenstock, Danville; a stepson, Gregory Geist and his wife Mandy, Sunbury; a daughter, Michelle Harding, Berwick; two step-daughters, Tina and her husband Larry Snyder, Danville; and Monica Geist; 7 Grandchildren, Cassandra, Rachel, Andrew, Ben, Emily, Alyssa, and Reid; two sisters, Joyce and her husband Jim Llewellyn, Danville, and Carol and her husband David Calderas, Maryland; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brothers, Wayne and Fred Bergenstock, and a sister, Faye Llewellyn.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10-11AM on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Trinity Oak Grove Lutheran Church, 483 Oak Grove Road, Danville, Pa 17821, where a memorial service will be held 11:00AM with his pastor, Gretchen Johansson, officiating.
