Richard W. Mounts, 70, of Lewis Twp., passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at his home.
Born October 9, 1955 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Charles and Barbara (Churchill) Mounts. On Mary 21, 1977 he married the former Connie R. Bockus and together they celebrated 48 years of marriage.
He was a 1974 graduate of Wellsboro High School. Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and 4-wheel driving.
In addition to his wife, Connie, he is survived by two sons: Chad M. Mounts, of Williamsport, and Tim W. Mounts and his wife Kasie, of Muncy; four grandchildren: Sean, Gage, Dillan, and Seanna Mounts; five great-grandchildren: Carson, Waylon, Braxton, and Oakland Mounts, and Leilani Richard; and three sisters: Jill Warriner, of Williamsport, Cindy Hand, of Magnolia TX, and Carol (Ron) Adams, of Conroe TX.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson: Maverick Mounts; daughter-in-law: Barbara Lynn; and brother: Ray Mounts.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
