Richard G. Kemble, 83, of Delaware Twp., Watsontown, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 31, 2024 at his home.
Born March 22, 1941 in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Galen and Katherine (Kowalik) Kemble. On August 10, 1963 he married the former Mildred L. Beard, and together they celebrated 61 years of marriage.
He was a proud member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and loved sharing his beliefs with others. Richard worked and retired from Brodart Co., where he had many patents for his own designs. He enjoyed inventing things, astronomy, riding his bicycle around town, and drinking hot coffee while playing basketball.
In addition to his wife, Mildred, he is survived by his children: Jonathan Kemble, Candia (Randy) Rush, Cassandra (Rich) Spicher, and Kris (David) Gregory; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister: Shirley Keith.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandchild.
Per his request no services will be held at this time.
