Richard C. Blank, 91, of Turbotville, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, Sunday, March 30, 2025 at home.
Born February 5, 1934 in Renovo, he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen (Durandetto) Blank. On August 27, 1988 he married the former L. Gisele Snyder and together they have celebrated 36 years.
Richard enlisted in the US Navy and honorably served his country during the Korean Conflict. He worked at Spaulding Fiber Co., Tonawanda, New York for 19 years.
He was a member of Watsontown Alliance Church. Richard enjoyed wood working, fly fishing, hunting, and bird watching.
He will be remembered fondly for always being the life of the party, and time spent with others. He enjoyed a good meal with family and friends, socializing, or sitting on the bench at Sockys in Renovo.
In addition to his wife, Gisele of Turbotville, Richard is survived by a son, Joe Blank and his wife, Brenda of Muncy; three brother and two sister-in-laws who he considered as siblings; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Twinkle.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Watsontown Alliance Church, 1165 Eighth Street Drive, Watsontown, with Dave Auker, officiating. Burial will be held privately at Fairview Cemetery, Renovo.
