Ray E. Yeich, 83, of Milton and formerly of Mechanicsburg, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, February 9, 2026.
Born August 30, 1942 in Summit Station, he was a son of the late John and Eva (Moyer) Yeich. On September 2, 1967 he married the former Dorothy B. Klinger and together they celebrated 58 years of marriage.
Ray was a graduate of Blue Mountain High School, and served his country honorably in the US Army. He worked and retired from PPL after over 35 years working in various roles. Ray was a Mr-Fix-It type always tinkering and he enjoyed doing electrical work, carpentry and working on cars.
He was a life member of American Legion Post 26 in Dillsburg, South Mountain VFW Post 6771 in Dillsburg, and of the Mechanicsburg Club. He was also a member of the Muncy Valley Moose Lodge 866, and was a former member at Summer Hill Lutheran Church.
Ray loved golfing and was a part of weekly league where he won many closest to pin and straightest drive competitions. He also enjoyed bowling.
In addition to his wife, Dorothy, he is survived by many nieces and nephews, and a large extended family.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Samuel Yeich and Kenneth Yeich Sr.; and one sister: Ida Sweigert.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
