Ravena L. (Speece) Hans

Ravena L. Hans, 83, formerly of Montandon and Sunbury, passed away on July 2, 2025 at the Hospice House, in Waycross, Georgia.

Born July 4, 1941 in Sunbury, she was a daughter of the late Claude and Ethel (Hugie) Speece.  On September 17, 1960 she married Oscar F. Hans III, and together they celebrated 50 years of marriage until his passing on November 14, 2010.

Ravena attended Montandon High School.  She was a military wife and stay at home mother for most of her life.  She enjoyed doing crafts and painting.

She is survived by her three children:  Richard Hans and his wife Tracy, of South Carolina, Kim Robinette and her husband Mark, of Georgia, and Lisa Wallace and her husband Robert of South Carolina; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother: Jack Speece and his wife Joanne, of Lewisburg; and sister: Barbara and her husband Roger, of Kansas.

There will be a graveside service held at 10:30 am on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Presbyterian Cemetery, McEwensville.
