Randy L. Payne

Randy L. Payne, 69 of Liberty Twp., Danville, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Glen Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Berwick.

Born January 2, 1956 he was the son of Esther J. (Cotner) Payne and the late Roger E. Payne.

He attended Danville High School and Trinity Oak Grove Lutheran Church.  In his earlier years he enjoyed working on the family farm and his animals.  Randy loved music, especially Country Western.

Randy will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  He had an easy going and joyful outlook on life with a pleasant personality; his favorite question to ask everyone was "What do you know?".

In addition to his mother, Esther, of Danville, he is survived by a sister: Joyce Stevens and her husband Michael, of Milan, OH; four nieces and nephews: Joshua Stevens, Madelyn Stevens and her husband John Bazley, Emma Stevens and her husband Jose Mitjavila, and Jacob Stevens; and one great niece: Louisa Bazley.

There will be a private memorial service held at a later date, and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations in his memory be made to Trinity Oak Grove Lutheran Church, 130 Hagenbuch Loop, Danville, Pa 17821.
