Perry L. Foust, 92, of Danville, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2020 at his home.
Born July 9, 1927 in Derry Twp., Montour County, he was the son of the late Ilard A. and Mabel M. (Mowrer) Foust.
He was a 1945 graduate of Danville High School and served honorably in the US Navy. He was employed at Merck Co., Danville for 40 years until retiring in 1992.
He was a member of Danville Masonic Lodge #224, Trinity United Church of Christ, Strawberry Ridge, and was the caretaker of Strawberry Ridge Cemetery for many years.
He enjoyed serving the community and spending time with his family.
Surviving are a nephew and niece: Randall W. Shultz and his wife Ruth Ann of Dover, PA, and Janet K. White and her husband Jerome of Olney, MD; great-nieces, Beth Craig and Jessica White; great-nephews, Matthew Shultz and his wife Kerry and Adam White and his wife Paige; and great-great-nieces and nephews: Natalie, Caitlin, and Madison Craig and Andrew and Emily Shultz.
Preceding him in death besides his parents were his sister and her husband, Emily M. and Clark J. Shultz.
Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11:00 AM Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc, PC, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville where the funeral will be held at 11:00 AM with Pastor Shawn McNett, officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Danville.
