Pauline C. "Polly" (Masser) Cameron

Pauline C. (Polly) Cameron, 84, formerly of Allenwood, passed away peacefully onThursday, February 27, 2020, at Riverview Manor, Lewisburg.

Polly was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to everyone who shared in her life’s journey.  Born October 20, 1935, in Allenwood, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mildred (Kratzer) Masser.  She married Robert E. Cameron on August 5, 1985, and together they celebrated 10 years of marriage until his passing on February 18, 1996.

Polly was a 1953 graduate of Watsontown High School. She worked for Montgomery Mills and later for The West Company as a quality inspector and machine operator.  She was also a member of Clinton Baptist Church in Montgomery. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and reading, as well as visiting and sharing her wonderful cooking and baking with family and friends.  We will all miss her delicious pies and warm laughter.

Polly is survived by her son, Paul Zeyn and his wife Angela of Cookeville, TN, her daughter Karen of Conshohocken, PA, two grandchildren, Travis and Erica Zeyn, and five brothers and two sisters:  James Masser of Milton, PA; Walter, David, Daniel and Joe Masser, Lois Hook, and Elsie Benfer, all of Allenwood, PA.  She was preceded in death by three brothers, Vernon (Dick), Jerry, and Andy Masser, as well as two sisters, Shirley Harer and Joyce Latshaw.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, March 3rd from 6 to 8pm at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc PC, 124 Main Street, Watsontown.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 4th at 11 am at Clinton Baptist Church, 60 Warren Street, Montgomery, the Rev. David Jacobs officiating.  Burial services immediately following at the Uniontown Cemetery in Allenwood.
