Paul F. Hans

Paul F. Hans, 92, of Watsontown, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025 at Watsontown Health & Rehab Center.

Born June 11, 1933 in Milton, he was a son of the late Harry R. and Edna (Burns) Hans.  On April 13, 1952 he married the former Pauline B. Hill and together they celebrated 72 years of marriage until her passing on May 21, 2024.

Paul served honorably in the US Navy during the Korean War.  Earlier in life he worked at Brodarts in Montgomery, and later retired from Masonite Corp.  He was a member of the Watsontown American Legion Post 323.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling with his family.  Most of all he loved all the time spent with his grandchildren.

Paul is survived three sons: Pete F. Hans, Jr. and his wife Tammy, of Picture Rocks, Timothy J. Hans and his wife Christine, of Lewisburg, and Rodney W. Hans and his wife Bernice, of Muncy; two daughters: Paula J. Wright and her husband James, and Brenda J. Springer and her husband Donny, both of Watsontown; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Besides his wife and parents he was preceded in death by his son: Jerry Hans; five brothers: Harry, Elwood, Frank "Freeman", Harvey, and Roger Hans; and six sisters: Erma McLaughlin, Grace McLaughlin, Alma Seibert, Catherine Hans, Daisy Snyder, and Ione Grow.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in his memory be made to a charity of one’s choice.
