Patricia D. “Pat” Cass, 90, of Lewisburg, formerly of Buffalo, NY; Hamburg, NY; and Watsontown, passed away,Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Buffalo Valley Personal Care, Lewisburg.
Born February 7, 1931, in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Sarah (Stott) Kingman. On September 25, 1964 she married the late Richard E. Cass, and together they celebrated 48 years of marriage.
She worked at Community Childcare and Buffalo Valley Personal Care, both in Lewisburg. She was a member of Dreisbach United Church of Christ, Lewisburg.
Pat was a devoted mother who enjoyed reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Especially, the family summer trips to Sandbridge Beach,Virginia. You could often find her sitting on the couch, looking out the window, watching the birds. She loved all animals, especially her cats she had over the years. Pat had many nicknames: Perfect Patty, Copperhead, Baby bird and Little Red. She truly enjoyed the simple things in life.
Pat is survived by four daughters, Lisa and Mike DeAngelis, Buffalo; Kelly and Peter Boal, Seattle; Vickie and Kevin Kilgus, Watsontown; and Kim Cass and Jim Morse, Baltimore; two step-children, Kathy and Dan Deely, Pittsburgh; and Michael Cass, Andalusia, AL; 11 grandchildren, Melanie and Jay Benbenek, Hamburg, NY; Cheri and Adam Tolnay, Dacula, GA; Stacey and Daniel Dugan, Hamburg, NY; Sebastian, Oliver, and Sarah Boal, Seattle; Amanda and Jonathon Piccione, Bloomsburg; Ryan Kilgus and his girlfriend, Kayla Steinmetz, BuenaVista, CO; and Collin, Devlynn, and Darcy Morse, Baltimore; four great-grandchildren, Braiden, Gracie, Gabriel, and Hadley; and a sister, Mary Ellen Anello.
In addition to her husband, Richard, Pat was preceded in death by daughter, Lucia Grattan; step-son, Larry Cass; brother, Warren Kingman; and two sisters, Grace Shearer and Dorothy Gleason.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10 to 11 am on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc PC, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville where a Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 AM. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
Family is requesting that masks be worn due to Covid numbers increasing.
