Nancy A. (Webb) West

Nancy A. West, of Milford, DE passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 surrounded by her family at UPMC Williamsport Hospital.

Born July 29, 1947 in Milford, DE, she was the daughter of the late Derrickson and Elizabeth Webb.  On June 29, 1974 she married Charles "Randy" West and together they celebrated 48 years of marriage.

She was a 1965 graduate of Milford High School.  Nancy also graduated from Shepherd College, and enjoyed being an elementary school teacher in the Milford and Woodbridge Elementary Schools until her retirement.  She was a member of the St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Milford, DE.

Nancy was an avid Philadelphia fan, she loved watching and cheering on the Phillies and Eagles.  She was a beloved softball and basketball coach.  She enjoyed traveling with her family especially to Jim Thorpe and Cooperstown.  Nancy loved spending time at the beach with her family, along the Indian River.  Most of all, Nancy would want to be remembered as someone who loved and was devoted to her family, who cherished all the time they could spend together.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children:  Christina Gaul, and Aaron (Kelly) West; grandchildren:  Mark West, Emma Gaul, Christian West, Kennedy West, and Alexander West; a great-grandchild: Estella West; and one brother: Richard West.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmie Webb, and grandson, Jacob Williams.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
