Michael L. Kessel, 73, formerly of Milton, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025 after a brief stay, at Nottingham Village, Northumberland.
Born June 2, 1951 in Hammond, Indiana, he was a son of the late Albert “Al” Kessel and his wife, Claire (Brungard) and Jean (Warg) Kessel. In 2001 he married the former Linda Dearman, and together they have celebrated 24 years of marriage.
Michael was a 1969 graduate of Milton High School. He worked and later retired from ACF Industries, Milton, after 33 years of service.
He was a member of the Watsontown Masonic Lodge, where he served as Grand and Worshipful Masters, and was a 32nd degree Freemason, Williamsport Consistory AASR Scottish Rite.
Michael loved his pool, palm trees, and dogs.
In addition to his wife, Linda, of Punta Gorda, Florida, Michael is survived by a daughter, Misty Cromley and her husband, Chad, of Turbotville; grandsons, Gavin and Garrison Cromley; and a sister, Cindy Kessel, of Milton.
Besides his parents and step-mother, Michael was preceded in death by a special Aunt, NaDene Deiterick.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
