Mary Margaret "Cookie" (Sudol) Cromis

Mary Margaret “Cookie” Cromis, 75, of Danville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Grandview Nursing Home, Danville.

Born January 1, 1949 in Danville, she was the daughter of the late George A. and Daisy M. (Bucher) Sudol. 

She was a 1967 graduate of Warrior Run High School.  Mary was baptized at St. Josephs’ Catholic Church in Milton.  She briefly worked at Philco Ford, and was a cook at the Milton Truck Stop, for many years.  She also enjoyed watching her soap operas.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Tresha Sudol, of Watsontown, and a niece, Stephanie S. Byers and her husband Robert, of Milton.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, George A. Sudol II, and a niece, Stacey Sudol.

There will be a funeral service held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 11, at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc PC, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville.  Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery, Milton.
