Marion H. Yeager, 87, formerly of Watsontown, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Milton Nursing and Rehab Center where she had been residing the past few years.
Born February 8, 1933 in Watsontown, she was the daughter of the late Byron and Marguerite (Matier) Hafer. On January 24, 1953 she married Joseph O. Yeager and they celebrated 66 years of marriage until his death January 5, 2020.
She was employed as a Dental Assistant for Dr. Robert Funk in Watsontown for 29 years.
She was a member and past worthy-matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Watsontown and a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Musser Lane, Watsontown. She enjoyed camping, traveling and collecting blue birds.
Surviving are a son and daughter: Kevin Yeager and his wife Carla of Snydertown and Lisa Hollenbach and her husband Rocky of Allenwood; three grandchildren: Vincent J. Yeager, Danielle Kinser, and Caitlyn Murray and her husband Bryan; four great-grandchildren: Emalyn Kinser, and Paxton, Rowan, and Keegan Murray; and two sisters: Carol Foresman and her husband Hugh of Turbotville and JoAnn Brittain of Milton.
Preceding her in death beside her husband was a brother, Ronald Hafer and a sister, MaryLou Archambault.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Watsontown Cemetery.
