Marian I. "Micki" (Lovell) Beck

Marian I. “Micki” Beck, 81, of Turbotville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at her home.   

Born June 14, 1945 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Grace (Paulhamus) Lovell.  On December 21, 1964 she married Lawrence M. Beck and together they celebrated 45 years of marriage until his passing in 2009.

Micki was a graduate of Williamsport High School; most of her life she spent time as a homemaker but did work at Super Shoes and the Hallmark Store in Muncy.  She attended Christ Wesleyan Church in Milton.

She enjoyed going on walks, shopping, and was a talented baker specializing in pies.  Micki was a social butterfly enjoying visiting with family and friends, and loved to bring her pies to gatherings.  Most of all Micki loved being with her family and her many friends that were like family to her.

She is survived by her son: Michael Beck, of Milton; two daughters: Melissa Cruz and her husband Joe, of West Pittston, and Suzanne Phillips, of Easton; grandson: Luke Phillips; and sister: Pauline Durkee and her husband Steve.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Shirley Liddic and Janice Bardo.

There will be a viewing held from 4:30 to 6:00 PM on Monday, July 6, at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc PC, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville, where a funeral service will follow at 6 PM with her pastor, Pastor Ken Paulhamus, officiating.  Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Resurrection Cemetery, Montoursville.
