LeRoy R. Boyles

LeRoy R. Boyles, 81, of Watsontown, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at his home on Saturday, October 1, 2022.

Born March 24, 1941 in Hughesville, he was the son of the late Judson R. and Eunice D. (Starr) Boyles.

He served honorable in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was a life member of the American Legion in Montgomery and the Goodwill Fire Company in Sunbury.

Surviving is a daughter, Starr E. Hill and her husband Carl of Turbotville; two sons: Michael J. Boyles of Watsontown and Royce R. Boyles and his wife Tiffany of Pennsdale; four grandchildren: Christin Thomas, Carl Hill, Persephone Boyles, and Aurora Boyles; four great-grandchildren: Taliyah, Royal, Greyson, and Arya; and a sister, Ruth Baumunk of Forksville.

Preceding him in death besides his parents was a sister, Sharon Whitmoyer.

Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate his life from 5 to 7 PM on Friday at Brooks Funeral Home and Cremation Svc., PC, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in his memory be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org/donate.
