Kenneth G. Heywood, Sr., 88, of New Columbia, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 17, 2023.
Born December 22, 1934 in Lewisburg, he was the son of the late Kenneth C. and Rae Amanda (Mabus) Heywood.
He was a 1952 graduate of Milton High School and had worked for Lycoming Construction Company. He enjoyed hunting and was a member of the Milton Moose Lodge.
Surviving are two sons: Kenneth G. Heywood, Jr. and his wife Kristine of Northumberland and Clint J. "Joe" Heywood of Montandon; three daughters: Tina K. Byers and her husband Dale of Watsontown; Robin Allen and her husband Melvin of Danville; and Margaret Troxell of Milton; his former wife: Geraldine E. Heywood; six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death besides his parents was a grandson, Travis Roberts, a daughter-in-law, Lenore Heywood, and a daughter, Geraldine "Fay" Dewispelaere.
Services and burial will held at the convenience of the family.
