Kenneth Hartman Obituary

Kenneth W. Hartman, 79, of New Columbia, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at home.

Born December 20, 1945 in Muncy, he was a son of the late Luther and Irene (Cramer) Hartman. On February 14, 1970 he married the former Donna M. Stackhouse, and together they have celebrated 55 years of marriage.

Ken worked for the Local 669 Pipefitters Union out of New Jersey. He proudly served his country in the US Army and was a life member of both, the Turbotville VFW and Watsontown American Legion.

He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Most of all, Ken enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family.

In addition to his wife, Donna, of New Columbia, Ken is survived by two sons, Kevin Hartman and his wife, Vanessa, of Danville, and Mike Snyder and his wife, Laura of Milton; a daughter, Kelly Hartman, of Watsontown; five grandchildren, Sydney (Zack) Jockel, Ethan (fiancé MaKensie) Hartman, Jordan Hartman, Keira (Abraham) Garcia, and Jayla Fiorella; three great-grandchildren, Demetirus, Maria, and Jesiah Garcia; three brothers, Jim Hartman and his wife, Bette, of Sullivan County, Ernest Hartman, of Hughesville, and Terry Hartman and his wife, Mary, of Unityville; and three sisters, Jane Derr, of Milton, Nancy Alexander and her husband, Jack, of Hughesville, and Roberta Poust, of Hughesville.

Besides his parents, Ken was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Billie Hartman; and a sister, Linda Poust.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services.
