Kathryn V. Keiser, 91, of Watsontown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Evangelical Community Hospital.
Born February 19, 1932 in Milton, one of fifteen children of the late John R. and Kathryn (Miller) Kerstetter. On March 17, 1951 she married Harold E. Keiser, and together they celebrated 72 years of marriage.
Kathryn was a 1950 graduate of Milton High School. She retired from West Co. in Montgomery after 11 years, earlier she worked for Philco-Ford Corp., in Watsontown. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Turbotville.
She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, college football especially Penn State, and vacationing to the beach. Most of all Kathryn loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, Harold, she is survived by her son: Rickey E. Keiser, of Dewart; a daughter: Mary Ann “Penny” Miller, of Watsontown; 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Dorothy Jean VonBlohn, of New Columbia, Sandra Danowsky, of Lewisburg, and Sharon Erb, of Limestoneville.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter: Carrie Keiser; son-in-law: Timothy Miller; brothers: Elwood, Herbert, John Jr., Dale, Ken, Charles “Bob”, and Ralph “Jim” Kerstetter; and sisters: Winifred Laubach, Florence Hayes, Mary Brown, and Jane Boyer.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10:30 to 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 3rd, at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc PC, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 am with her pastor, Rev. Doug Schader, officiating. Burial will follow in Presbyterian Cemetery, McEwensville.
