Kathleen L. Ulrich, 69, of Turbotville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Williamsport North Rehab and Nursing Center.
Born September 23, 1954 in Lewisburg, she was the daughter of the late Matthew H. and Mary E. (Tierney) Steinbacher. On April 30, 1977 she married Robert M. Ulrich Sr. and together they celebrated 46 years of marriage, until his passing on October 13, 2023.
She was a 1972 graduate of Warrior Run High School. She was a classically trained opera singer and enjoyed her music career in the 1970s until she started her own family. She was a member of the Church of the Resurrection in Muncy, and loved singing in the church choir.
Kathleen enjoyed crocheting and baking. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Robert M. Ulrich, Jr. of Muncy; three daughters: Evelyn K. Donelson of Virginia; Mary E. Freeman of Milton; and Gertrude A. Lopez of Riverside; seven grandchildren: Alex and Dylan Freeman, Elizabeth and Matthew Leach, Jonathan Brown, Joao Lopez, Jr. and Diego Lopez; one brother: Patrick Steinbacher, of Jersey Shore; and two sisters: Juliann Mull, of Milton, and Mary Lawton, of Berwick.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Francis and John Steinbacher
There will be a funeral mass held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 30, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 109 Broadway Street, Milton, with Father Dennis Dalessandro, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Milton.
