Julia A. Gresh, 64 of Exchange, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born July 28, 1961 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Paul R. Reese and Barbara (Minier) Frey. On October 23, 1976 she married Stephen J. Gresh and together they celebrated 49 years of marriage.
Julia owned Greshy's Restaurant and worked at the Watson Inn. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Milton. Her main passion in life was cooking and caring for people.
Julia loved watching cooking shows and was always eager to help people raise their children. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, Stephen, she is survived by two sons: Stephen Gresh II and his fiancé Sarah Hummel, of Exchange, and Jacob Eveland, of Georgia; one daughter: Melissa Stackhouse and her husband Shaun, of Loganton; two grandchildren: Ryan (Mercedes) Keister, and Rylee Keister, both of Exchange; one great-grandson: Archer Keister; and one sister: Gloria Famiglio and her husband Greg, of Florida.
Besides her parents, Julia was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Reese Jr.
A celebration of Julia's life will be held noon to 2:00PM on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at the Anthony Township Building, 1361 Whitehall Road, Turbotville, PA 17772.
