John R. Huff, Jr.

John R. Huff, Jr., 82, of New Columbia, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Watsontown Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Born October 21, 1940 in Williamsport, he was the son of the late John R., Sr. and Eleanor (Hinkal) Huff. On June 28, 1980, he married the former Donna K. Baker, and they celebrated 38 years of marriage until her passing in 2019.

John was a graduate of Williamsport High School. He went on to honorably serve our country in the United States Army.

He is survived by two brothers, Richard Huff, Montoursville, and Rodger Huff, West Virginia; a sister, Jane Huff, Forest City, Arkansas; and two grandsons, Brandon and Josh Snyder.

In addition to his parents and wife, John was preceded in death by two sisters, Martha Ann and Katherine Mary Huff; and a brother, William Huff.

There will be a graveside service held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Highland Cemetery, New Columbia.
