Jerry E. Wagner, 78 of Turbotville, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2025 at his home.
Born January 14, 1947 in Shamokin, he was a son of the late Bertrand and Alice (Price) Wagner. On November 19, 1966 he married the love of his life, Rosemarie Procopio and together they celebrated almost 59 years of marriage.
Jerry was a 1964 graduate of Shamokin High School, and served honorably in US Army for three years. He worked for Philadelphia Electric, Towers Perrin in New Jersey, and most recently at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Jerry enjoyed golfing at Sunny Hill Golf Club in Sunbury, and going to the Sunbury Senior Center with his friends.
He was a huge Philadelphia sports fan, cheering on both the Eagles and Phillies faithfully. Jerry was also an avid fan of Penn State Athletics, and enjoyed bowling. He was a parishioner at St. John's UCC in Shamokin.
In addition to his wife, Rosemarie, he is survived by two daughters: Sandi M. Toth and her husband Mike, of Thorndale, and Lori A. Norbeck and her husband Nick, of Wallingford; three grandchildren: James and Jerry Toth, and Katelyn Norbeck; one brother: Ron Wagner and his wife Joanne, of Shamokin; sister-in-law: Frances Schellinger, of Gilbertsville; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother: Fred Wagner; sister: Mary Startzel; and son-in-law: James Toth.
A memorial service will be held Friday, November 14th at 7:00 pm at the Brookhaven Municipal Center. 2 Cambridge Rd Brookhaven, PA 19015. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
