James M. Vicchiarelli

James M. Vicchiarelli, 76, of Hughesville, formerly of Deerpark, New York, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at his home.

Born March 22, 1948 in New York City, he was a son of the late Giacomo “Jack” and Freda (Zeise) Vicchiarelli. He married the former Sharon G. Pflug, and together they celebrated 53 years of marriage until her passing in 2019.

James worked for El Al Airlines, New York. 

He was a faithful member of the Episcopal church, and his greatest joy came from time spent with family.

James is survived by daughters, Cheryl Huerta of California; Dawn M. Dyer and her husband, Myron E., Jr. of Turbotville; Christine Enos and her husband, Lon of California; and Nicole L. Smulktis and her husband, Scott of Williamsport; grandchildren, James, Christopher, Erynne, Joseph, Luis, Myron III, Sarah, Halia, Leiana, Anthony, and Mia; a step-grandson, Steven; and great-grandchildren, Jaylin, Kaylee, Deegan, Kyrie, Octavia, Summer, Oaklynn and Aleia.

In addition to his parents and wife, James was preceded in death by a son, James K. Vicchiarelli; brother, Michael Vicchiarelli; and sisters, Jackie Brown and Anne Denis.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
