Jacob Gresh Obituary

Jacob Neal Gresh, was born August 9, 1934, to his parents, Earl and Maragret “Pauline” (Lehman) Gresh, in Watsontown, Pennsylvania.  Jacob, a proud veteran of the Army, departed his life on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Nottingham Village.

Jacob graduated from Watsontown High School, Class of 1952 and worked as a TV cable lineman in the Montgomery area for many years.  Jacob donated much of his free time to hunting, spending time with his family, and membership at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Watsontown.

Jacob was married to Audrey Joyce (Hitesman) Gresh on June 6, 1959 and together they celebrated 56 years of marriage before her passing.

Jacob is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Alan N. and Dawn Gresh of Muncy; five grandchildren: Amanda Gresh, Rachel Huff, Patrick Sill, Michael Sill, and Percy Rose; one great-grandson: Logan Huff; and a sister: Rosalie Patton.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Joyce Gresh; daughter, Donna Kay Gresh-Sill; and siblings: Earl Gresh, Thelma Ernst, and Ruth Patterson.

Friends are invited to call from 10 to 11AM Thursday, April 10, 2025 at First Lutheran Church, 400 Main Street, Watsontown where the funeral service will begin at 11AM with Vicar Amy Shuck, officiating.  Burial will follow in Presbyterian Cemetery, McEwensville.

Memorials may be given to First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Watsontown.  The family of Jacob wishes to thank Nottingham Village and Lewisburg Dialysis Center for their prayers and care.
