Irma Walton Obituary

Irma E Walton 90 of Muncy Valley, Pa. went to be with the Lord on July 30, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving Family.

She was born in Michelou, (Saxony) Germany on November 30, 1929; she was the daughter of the Late Fritz and Rosa Leistner, Hannell she was preceded in death by a Brother Fritz Hannell and a Brother Herbert Hannell. She is survived by her Husband John and they had been married for 73 years.

Irma was a devoted wife and Loving Mother; she was a woman of immense talent. She loved to crochet and knit and was an incredible crafts person who could take anything and create a work of art. She had an incredible green thumb and loved to garden and could take any sickly plant and nurse it back to life.

She loved to walk and enjoy nature, she loved her Mountains and would sit on her front porch and just watch the seasons change and world watch the world go by on the mountain top she could view from her porch.

She loved to spend time with her Children and Grandchildren and then Great Grandchildren. She was known for her sharp sense of humor and human spirit. She loved her children dearly and was proud of them and their accomplishments. She was always there to give advice and never would turn anyone away. Her children’s friends loved to visit and she always had a few adopted children from them that would come to stay for lengths of time when they needed loving and care. She was a surrogate mother to a lot of her children’s friends. She will always be loved and missed by those who loved and cherished her.

Survivors include her two sons, Charles D Walton, Charleston S.C, John Walton Jr, Scranton, PA Her four daughters, Barbara Jo Moraski (Jack), Mayfield, Pa., Charlotte Perry, Madisonville, Pa. Aggie Walton, Dallas Pa., Suzanne Powers, Jefferson Township, Pa. Nine Grandchildren, Chad Walton, Lisa Walton, John Moraski III (jay), Liam Bell, DDM Stephanie Zeiler Captain US Army, Allison McFoss RN, Dustin Zeiler, Johnathan Powers, Lyndsay Powers, Great Grandchildren Chad Walton Jr., Tucker Bell.

Services and burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
