Howard Yoder, Jr.

Howard Yoder, Jr, 89, passed away in Richmond, VA, on April 5, 2025 after months of declining health.  

Born in Watsontown, PA, on August 14, 1935, he was the son of the late Lera Marshall and Howard Yoder and the husband of the late Nancy Sechler Yoder, with whom he lived in York from 1961 until her passing in 2017.  He relocated to Virginia in 2021.  

He is survived by his only daughter, Brenda Yoder Snead and her husband, Warren L Snead, Jr., of Richmond, VA; two grandchildren, Warren L. Snead, III, (Leah Paulson) of Wallingford, PA, and Catherine Elizabeth Snead of Nashville, TN; his sister, Mary Anne Yoder Wertman of York; and 11 nieces and nephews.  

There will be a graveside service with full military honors at 11:30 AM on Saturday, April 12, in Watsontown Cemetery.
