Helen Swartz Obituary

Helen I. Swartz 96, of Limestone Twp., passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Evangelical Community Hospital.

Born September 8, 1926 in Limestone Twp., Montour Co., she was the daughter of the late Roy and Blanche (Diehl) Smith. On September 26, 1975 she married Raymond D. Swartz and together they celebrated 46 years of marriage.

In addition to her husband, Raymond, she is survived by her three daughters: Janice M. Schlegel and her husband Montana L., of Milmont, Louise J. Styers and her husband Warren, of Mifflinburg, and Dawn E. Randler and her husband Ronald W., of Danville; four grandchildren: Jennifer Fenstermacher, Kyle Miller, Brooke Styers, and Torie Libby; four great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law: Lois Smith.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her, three sisters: Eva Wesley, Elizabeth Metzger, and Thelma Russell; and two brothers: Frank and Howard Smith.

Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
