Harry W. Hoy, 83, of Lewis Twp., passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, March 22, 2021 at his home.
Born October 8, 1937 in Watsontown, he was the son of the late Clifton R. and Alverna (Wright) Hoy. On September 28, 1956, he married the former Bonita B. Golder and together they celebrated 64 years of marriage.
Harry was a graduate of Milton High School, and served honorably in the US National Guard for four years. He was employed at Watsontown Brick Company for many years and served as the Lewis Township supervisor.
He enjoyed fixing things and was often repairing items. Harry cherished all the years he could spend coaching football and baseball.
In addition to his wife, Bonnie, he is survived by his five children: Kathy M. Fenstamaker, of Williamsport, Todd M. Hoy, of Turbotville, Tina Stackhouse, of Lewisburg, Kim Dominick, of Lewisburg, and Clyde Crane, of Turbotville; thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers: Gary Hoy, of Milton, and Christian Hoy, of Lewisburg; and one sister: Janet Reitz, of Lancaster.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Devin Hoy.
In keeping with his wishes there will be no services.
