George Felix Obituary

George D. Felix, 87, of Watsontown, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Watsontown Health and Rehab.

He was born November 5, 1934 in Montgomery, the son of the late Simon and Florence (Roller) Felix.  On February 19, 1955 he married the former Mary Ann Tupper and they celebrated 63 years of marriage until her death June 10, 2018.

He had worked for Modecraft and later retired from National Gypsum where he had worked 30 years.  He was an avid golfer and enjoyed gardening and yard work.  He enjoyed bowling with local leagues.  He was proud to have helped to build his home in rural Watsontown, loved his cats, and cherished times spent with his family.  He was a loyal Penn State and Eagles fan.

Surviving are two sons:  Gerald Felix and his wife Pamela of New Columbia and Michael Felix and his fiance Shelley Maiorana of Palm Coast, FL; a daughter, Kathy White and her husband Hank of Danville; four grandchildren:  Cathy Grow, Jeremy Felix, Coby Cotner, and Christopher Felix; seven great-grandchildren: Trevor Grow, Jayla Felix, Aydin Grow, Drew Grow, Jacey Felix, Jaiden Felix, and Forister Felix; and three sisters: Carol May, Roberta Derr, and Gail Felix-Bieber.

Preceding him in death besides his wife was a brother, Richard S. Felix.

Services and burial in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy will be held privately at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in his memory be made to the Parkinson's Foundation at http://parkinson.org/ways-to-give
