George R. Derrick

George R. Derrick, 70 of Anthony Twp., Montour Co., passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at his home.

Born April 9, 1955 in Muncy he was a son of the late Franklin Derrick and Lottie Gray.

He was a graduate of Warrior Run High School.  George worked for ACF in Milton, and most recently for Bryfogle's Nursery.  He was a member of the Millville American Legion Post 564, Washingtonville Fire Hall and Turbotville VFW Post 8206.

George enjoyed hunting, going on fishing trips, and riding his side by side.

He is survived by his daughter: Kristie Anzulavich and her husband Thomas; three grandchildren: Gage, Kade, and Ainsley; three siblings: Dottie (Carmine) Alberico, Dale Derrick, and Diane Brown; cousins: Steve and Michelle Michael; step-father: Stanley Laidacker; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Daisy.

Besides his parents, George was preceded in death by his siblings, Wayne Derrick, Richard Derrick and Donna Smith.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
