Fay Ann Grunden, 77, of Watsontown, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 12, 2025.
Born February 5,1947 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Shirley I. (McCollin) Derr. On September 9, 2000 she married Richard L. Grunden and they have celebrated 24 years of marriage.
She was a 1965 graduate of Warrior Run High School and earned an A1B Certification in Banking. She was a loan specialist and retired from Turbotville National Bank in 2009 and earlier in life had worked in banking in the Allentown area. She and her husband, Rick, owned and operated the "Tin Cup" restaurant in Turbotville for 20 years
Surviving besides her husband, "Rick" Grunden at home, are a son and daughter, Shawn G. (LeVeda) McNeil of Mascotte, FL and Beverly Ann Johnson-Prince (Randy Johnson) of Watsontown; two grandchildren: Jamie V. McNeil and Zachary S. Prince; a step-son, William S. (Nicole) Grunden of Orangeville; three step-daughters: Kristie A. (Norman) Brown, Kelly S. Bartusik (Chris Everetts), and Karla E. Grunden; six step-grandchildren; and two sisters: Helen Jean (Henry M., Jr.) Baylor of Lewisburg and Kathy M. (Archie Jr.) Miller of Watsontown.
Preceding her in death besides her parents was a brother, Kenneth Derr on June 19, 1978.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of her life on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Brooks Funeral Home and Cremation Svc, PC, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville.
Private burial in Watsontown Cemetery will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to a charity of one's choice.
