Evelyn Velez Obituary

Evelyn Velez, 74, of Turbotville, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 peacefully at home with her family by her side.

Born February 10, 1947 in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Constance (Medina) Velez.

She enjoyed bowling, beaches, casinos, and loved all animals.

She leaves behind her partner of 30 years Dr. Diane Zarconi of Turbotville. Evelyn is survived by three beautiful daughters; Constance “Connie” Magro her husband James Triano of Bethlehem, PA, Joann “JoJo” Martinez of Bridgeport, CT  and Evelyn “Monique” Garcia of Sandston, VA.

Beloved by her eight grandchildren; Ronnie “PaPa” Ortiz Magro, Anastasia “Annie” Perez, Gabriel “Gabe” Perez, Destiny Jackson, Joshua “Josh” Gonzalez, Zachary “Zach” Triano, Devin Walker, and Jacob Kurowski.

The apple’s of her eye were her four great grandchildren; Alivia Yocum, Ariana Magro, Leo Pagliacolo and Alaina Gonzalez.  Her loving brother William Velez and baby sister Nancy Velez. An abundance of nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her brother’s David Velez, Louis Velez, Walter Velez, sister Carmen Velez and her grandson Raphael Farlough Jr

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
