Etta E. Myers, 83, formerly of Avis, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, February 13, 2025 with her family by her side.
Born March 24, 1941 in Galeton, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Elsie (Grant) Fredrickson.
She was a 1959 graduate of Montgomery High School.
She accepted Jesus as her savior on October 1, 2020 at the age of 79. She enjoyed spending holiday meals with her family and visiting with and friends who would stop by for a visit.
Surviving is a son, Raymond E. Harpster of Williamsport; two daughters: Denise Slanga and her husband Vincent of Birdsboro and Charlene Weisenborn and her husband Arthur in Florida; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Emmie "Babe" Frey of Doylestown.
Preceding her in death besides her parents was a granddaughter, Megan Harpster on January 19, 2025, and four sisters: Evelyn Temple, Erma Stamm, Edith "Skip" Umstead, and Ervene Vitacolonna.
Burial will take place at Twin Hills Memorial Park, and a family gathering of remembrance will take place at a later date.
