Donald F. Ehrlich, 88, of Watsontown, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Emmanuel Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation, Danville.
Born October 10, 1935 in Portland, Oregon, he was the son of the late Charles and Ethel (Wilbur) Ehrlich. On May 29, 1966 he married the former Joan R. Carey, and together they would have celebrated 56 years of marriage until her passing in May of 2022.
Donald was a graduate of Warren High School in Washington, Oregon and Andrew’s University, Michigan.
His main life pursuit was to share his love and faith in Jesus Christ. Donald and his wife, Joan served in gospel ministry in many churches throughout Pennsylvania. He loved visiting with people and helping them accept Jesus as their savior.
Donald is survived by his son, John F. Ehrlich, of Silver Spring, MD; a daughter, Deborah A. Spencer and her husband, William, of Watsontown; two grandchildren, Diana (Jason) Geise, and Brian (Emily) Spencer; and four great-grandchildren, Carson Geise, Mayzie, Jettson, and Mayble Spencer.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Mifflintown Seventh-day Adventist Church, 23547 Rte. 35N, Mifflintown, PA 17059, with a luncheon to follow at 2:00PM.
