Dennis A. Day

Dennis A. Day, 59, of Watsontown, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at home.

Born July 6, 1966 in Lewisburg, he was a son of the late Jack L. and Bonnie J. (Derr) Day.

Dennis attended Milton Area High School, and worked at Muncy Homes for over 20 years.

He was an auxiliary member of the Milton VFW Post 1665, and a SAL member of  the Milton American Legion Post 71.

Dennis enjoyed wood working, cooking, and watching his cat and dog play. He was happiest when hanging out with friends and family. He was affectionately known as “Pappy Dennis.”

Dennis is survived by a companion, Judy Fry, of Watsontown; step-daughter, Ashley Self and her children, Ray and Lane Self, of Massillon, OH; brothers, David (Peggy Fornwalt) Day, of Muncy, and Tony Day and his wife, Lori, of White Deer; sisters, Kim Merritt and her husband, Willie, and Vickie Walker, both of Milton; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

The family plans to hold a celebration of his life at a later date.
