Debra M. “Debbie” Rood, 66, of Watsontown, passed away, Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at UPMC – Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
Born March 30, 1954, in Lewisburg, she was the daughter of the late Carl L. and Betty (Hartley) Rupert.
Debbie was a 1972 graduate of Warrior Run High School. She formerly worked at JPM in Lewisburg.
She was an avid lover of animals and loved to color, paint, and go horseback riding.
Debbie was survived by her three children: Danielle R. Mast and her husband Daniel, of Allenwood, Denise L. Rood and her fiancée LaRue H. Day, and Dale A. Rood Jr, both of New Columbia; three grandchildren: Ashley Parrish, Haley Keiser, and Zackery Newcomer; three great-grandchildren; two sisters: Carol (Ronald) Rovenolt, of Turbotville, and Sandra Deitrick, of Milton; and one half-brother: Chester L. Rupert, of Texas.
Family and friends are invited to call from 12 to 1 PM, on Tuesday, September 8th, at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc PC, 124 Main Street, Watsontown, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Butch Woolsey, officiating. Burial will follow in Presbyterian Cemetery, McEwensville.
