David S. Beach

David S. Beach, 85, of Turbotville and formerly of Cambra, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025, peacefully with his wife by his side, at home.

Born May 9, 1939 in Huntington Mills, he was a son of the late Ludwig and Pauline (Seward) Beach. On June 18, 2003 he married the former Joan A. Schick, and together they celebrated 21 years of marriage.

David was a graduate of Northwest High School. He worked for Country Maid Sportswear, Danville.

David loved spending time outdoors – hunting, fishing, and visiting Montour Preserve Lake. He was especially fond of visiting the Watkins Glen area in New York.

In addition to his wife, Joan, David is survived by a son, Mark Beach and his wife Lisa, Cambra; two daughters, Julie Genther and her husband Eric, North Carolina; and Michele Preziosi and her husband Darryl, Lititz; 6 grandchildren, Erica (Anthony) Payne, Stephanie Genther, Aaron Genther, Deanna (Josiah) Haws, Daniel Preziosi, and Jacob Beach; 5 great-grandchildren, Anthony, Miles, Aaliyah, and Logan Payne; and Julia Genther; a brother, Gary Beach and his wife, Carolyn, Benton; and a nephew, Bradley Beach and his wife Donna, Virginia.

Besides his parents, David was preceded in death by a grandson, Steven Preziosi.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 11AM to 12PM on Monday, January 20, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home and Cremation Svc, PC, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville where a funeral service will begin at noon with Chaplain Robert Barner, officiating.  Burial will follow in Washingtonville Cemetery.
