Darlene Kay Sharr

Darlene Kay Sharr, 75, of Montgomery, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024 at home.

Born September 28, 1949 in Muncy, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Clara (Hill) Buck.

She was a graduate of Montgomery High School and had worked at OTEX in Watsontown for 25 years.  Earlier she had worked at Lendine Textiles in Montgomery. 

She always enjoyed her work-family and spending time with her nieces and nephews and their families.

Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. "Bob" Sharr, Jr., who died July 27, 2022, a son, Robert D. "Bobby" Sharr, III, two sisters: Shirley Aunkst and Betty Grimm, and a brother, James R. Bennett, Sr.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held from noon to 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home and Cremation Svc, PC, 124 Main Street, Watsontown.  Burial in St. John's Lutheran "Brick" Church Cemetery will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
