Daniel E. “Dan” Heeman, 56, of Danville, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at his home.
Born July 10, 1963 in Sayre, he was the son of Joyce (Greene) Walburn of Washingtonville and the late Elmer Walburn Sr.
On July 25, 2009 he married the former Melissa A. Knapp and they would have celebrated eleven years of marriage this summer.
He owned and operated Dan’s Auto Repair of Danville and was very well respected by his customers.
He loved his classic cars, especially his 1970’s Novas, and going to car shows, especially to Mecum Auto Auctions.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Surviving besides his wife, Melissa Heeman, and his mother, Joyce Walburn, are a son, Michael Heeman of Turbotville; two daughters: Jessica Shiffer of Orangeville and Samantha Heeman and her fiancé Jonathan Drummond of Williamsport; seven grandchildren: Ava, Isayaha, Kaleah, Ameris, Dominic, Christopher, and Michael, Jr.; threes brother, Elmer Jr., Brian, and Gary; and five sisters: Vickie, Cathy, Barbara, Dawn, and Donna.
Preceding him in death besides his father was a brother, Rick Heeman, and a sister, Cynthia Burbank.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10 to 11:00 AM on Monday, March 23, 2020 at Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc, PC, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mike Reece of Delaware Run Wesleyan Church, Watsontown, officiating. Burial will follow in Washingtonville Lutheran Cemetery.
